About This Site

Remit

This is the technical library for the LT-60 IceEdge series -60℃ single-stage auto-cascade (SACR) low-temperature refrigeration units: an engineering archive covering cycle principles, component selection boundaries, installation, commissioning, operation and troubleshooting, for refrigeration engineers to consult during selection, commissioning and fault diagnosis.

What it is not: not a product landing page, not an e-commerce site, not a brand promotion site. No product pitching, no competitor comparison.

How content is organised

Technical articles are organised by engineering problem, not by product model:

Cases are archived by operating condition, and every record states its condition boundaries and limiting factors.

Data annotation rules

This site draws an explicit distinction between sources of data. This is the line it does not cross:

  1. Performance data of the unit itself (capacity, power input, COP, pull-down rate, noise, vibration and so on): always marked with a {{placeholder}}, to be replaced with a definite value once measurement is available. Estimated, analogised or theoretically derived values are never substituted for measured values.
  2. Published property data (refrigerant boiling point, critical parameters, GWP and so on): may be used, but the source (ASHRAE Handbook, NIST REFPROP, for example) and the temperature / pressure basis must be stated, and it must not be used to derive unit performance.
  3. Code clauses: only the current edition is cited; standard numbers and edition years are never invented.

Safety note

Work involving flammable refrigerants, pressure vessels, cryogenic frostbite and confined spaces must follow the accompanying technical documentation and the current safety codes in force. Nothing on this site replaces the site safety procedure.
